Order Processing and Production

All physical products sold by Bestis are custom-made and produced on demand following customer approval of a design preview.

Once approval is received:

  • Orders are transmitted for manufacturing

  • Production typically begins immediately

  • Production time varies depending on product type and network capacity

Estimated production time is generally 2–3 business days, although timelines may vary depending on order complexity or operational factors.

Fulfilment time forms part of the delivery estimate shown at checkout and is combined with shipping time to provide an indicative delivery date.

Production cannot begin until preview approval has been granted, and orders cannot be modified once manufacturing starts.


Production Network

Bestis uses Gelato to coordinate production and logistics through a distributed global network of printing partners.

This infrastructure includes:

  • Production facilities in 32 countries

  • Partnerships with 140+ print providers

  • Delivery coverage in 200+ countries

 

Orders are automatically routed to the optimal facility based on:

  • Delivery address

  • Product availability

  • Real-time production capacity

 

Most products are manufactured as close as possible to the delivery destination, which helps:

  • Reduce delivery times

  • Lower shipping costs

  • Minimise customs risk

 

Over 85–90% of orders are produced locally, although some orders may be fulfilled in another country where required for operational reasons.


Shipping and Delivery Times

Delivery times depend on destination, shipping method, and production location.

Typical ranges include:

  • Domestic standard delivery: 2–4 business days

  • Local-region delivery after production: 2–4 days

  • Cross-border delivery: 5–10 days

 

Standard shipping timelines are indicative only and not guaranteed. Delivery estimates may vary due to:

  • Carrier performance

  • Customs processing

  • Network conditions

  • Seasonal demand

  • Unforeseen operational factors

 

Customers receive available shipping options and estimated delivery windows at checkout before completing payment.


Shipping Methods

Depending on destination, the following shipping options may be available:

  • Economy / Standard

  • Express

  • Pallet freight for large orders

 

Shipping methods and pricing are determined dynamically based on location and order characteristics.


Sustainability and Local Production

Products are manufactured locally whenever possible through on-demand production. This model reduces transportation distances, waste, and carbon emissions compared to centralized manufacturing.


Risk and Delivery Responsibility

For consumers within the European Union:

  • Risk transfers upon physical receipt of goods

  • Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected

Bestis is not responsible for delivery failures caused by:

  • Incorrect address information

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Customs clearance delays

  • Events outside reasonable control


Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For shipments outside the European Union:

  • Import duties or taxes may apply

  • These charges are determined by local authorities

  • Customers are responsible for payment


Lost or Damaged Shipments

If an order arrives damaged or fails to arrive:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery or expected delivery date with:

  • Order number

  • Description of issue

  • Supporting photos (if applicable)

We will investigate and provide replacement or refund where appropriate in accordance with applicable consumer law.
